RadBeacons currently come in two formats - USB and battery-powered. Certified Power Supplies for the RadBeacon USB and a PiBeacon Developer Kit are also offered.

RadBeacons are Bluetooth Smart™ proximity beacons using iBeacon™ technology. They are used in combination with Bluetooth 4.0-enabled mobile devices running applications with proximity services.  RadBeacons enable hyper-proximity, micro-location engagement capabilities and analytics in today's leading mobile apps, products and technologies.  RadBeacon hardware and Radius Networks’ proximity services are deployed worldwide in wide spectrum of end-user proximity-enabled solutions across OEM, TelCo Carrier, Retail, Sports/Entertainment, Convenience Stores, Restaurants, Museums, Airports, Hospitality and other vertical markets.

RadBeacon proximity beacons ship preconfigured and ready to use with a default identifiers. You can customize your RadBeacons anytime by downloading our free configuration app from the Apple App Store, RadBeacon Config App.
